The more detailed information you provide the better chance your profile will have in being found. Don’t worry, we’ll check the information you provide to make sure it accurately reflects your services and location; we’ll also check to ensure that it’s worded correctly to be within the results of the business category you serve.

Q: How long will it take for my listing to appear in a Google search by someone looking for my local business?
A: Your Search Magnet Local ® directory website will be live within five working days after you input your business information. We submit to 50+ directories on the 1st of each month. Some will require that you validate as a business owner, so it’s important to watch your email for the notices and take the action they ask for. You’ll notice your listing really soar once this is done.

Q: What if I want to make changes to my Search Magnet Local ® Website?
A: You have unlimited access to add and modify information on your online local profile anytime you like. We resubmit your listing to the directories each month.

Q: I updated my Search Magnet Local ® Website, but it isn’t showing the changes.
A: Your site is updated instantly. However, our search specialists must go through your changes to make sure you haven’t impacted your search results. Once they’ve done this, it will be made “live,” at which time you will see the updates.

Q: Why do the directories validate local listings?
A: The local directories do this to lessen the impact of spam listings. Once we submit your business to the directories you will receive email from most asking you to confirm your inclusion.
